While in office, President Obama has shown no reluctance to mis-interpret the Constitution or our nations laws when it suits him. In fact, by some interpretations, he has technically broken well over 2,000 laws.
The contempt he’s displayed for the Constitution and even the concept of rule of law is breathtaking. To him, it seems to be a document to be ignored when its clear and forthright language get in the way of whatever pet project he is presently pursuing. He has committed actions, such as maintaining an ‘open border’ policy, that suggests his commitment to the destruction of our nation.
Is it really difficult to believe President Obama is capable of imposing martial law or initiating some ‘national emergency’, such as nationwide riots, in order to stay in the White House to continue his virtual dictatorship?
MOVE ON TO PAGE 2:
Prison term
In May 1988, Ronald Reagan spoke at Moscow State University in Russia and was asked about whether he wishes he could “stay for another term.” Reagan began by talking about Congress seeking “revenge against Franklin Delano Roosevelt” when lawmakers changed the Constitution, which Reagan apparently saw as a mistake. The Republican president added:
“When I get out of office – I can’t do this while I’m in office, because it will look as I’m selfishly doing it for myself – when I get out of office, I’m going to travel around what I call the mashed-potato circuit – that is the after-dinner speaking and the speaking to luncheon groups and so forth – I’m going to travel around and try to convince the people of our country that they should wipe out that amendment to the Constitution because it was an interference with the democratic rights of the people. The people should be allowed to vote for who they wanted to vote for, for as many times as they want to vote for him; and that it is they who are being denied a right.”
Remember, Reagan was in the Soviet Union at the time, talking to our Cold War foe.
We need a million armed American march on Washington D.C.
Obama never said he would run for a 3rd term. Rather he said that if he could run for president again, he believes he stands a pretty good chance of winning a 3rd term. However our constitution prohibits it. His statements were directed toward African Union leaders, encouraging them to relinquish power rather than to consolidate it in themselves. Also, Ronald Reagan said that he would actively fight for the repeal of the 22nd amendment since “It is an invasion of their democratic rights to vote for whoever they want to vote for and for however long.”

Our Founding Fathers knew what they were doing when they limited the term of office for president – they understood the heart of man and those in power- greedy, corruptible, egotistical & wouldn’t give up power unless forced! Aren’t you glad!!!!! Get out obama & your evil destructive cronies!!!!!!#
Hey, constitutional scholar! The founding fathers never set term limits for president. That was added by the 22nd Amendment in 1951 by Republicans after FDR won 4 consecutive terms. Also Reagan sought to repeal it as “an invasion of their democratic rights to vote for whoever they want to vote for and for however long.”
The founding fathers were fine with it actually. The amendment preventing a third term was passed after FDR.
You don’t know your history! Franklin D Roosevelt was in his third term when he died!
“The Twenty-second Amendment of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for election and overall time of service to the office of President of the United States. Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947. It was ratified by the requisite number of the forty-eight states on February 27, 1951,”
Our Founding Fathers did not limit the term of office for president!!!!!
It wasn’t our founding fathers that put limitations on how many terms a President can serve. It’s the 25th amendment to our constitution and was done in response to FDR.
Even Ronald Reagan thought the amendment should be overturned.
I’d suggest you do a bit of research & reading, but that would probably be too taxing for you to do before you state your “opinion”.
You nitwit. The founding fathers had nothing to do with limiting terms. The 22nd amendment (proposed in 1947, and ratified in 1951) is when term limits for presidents started. FDR won 4 terms, but really only served 3, dying early in his 4th term.
Will never happen
Forgetyting?
sorry my finger slipt. – but you got the message.
Wow, some people would believe almost anything. There will not be a third term, calm down and find something else to whine about.
May try stay in office under Marshall law, War or proving no one qualifying to hold office
