One of the most integral rights one has as a patient in a doctor’s care is their right to privacy. This important right ensures that your health conditions, particularly sensitive ones such as mental illness, is no one business but your own and those who are involved with treatment.
Well, today Obama destroyed that right with his far-reaching executive action regarding gun sales in the United States.
How did patient privacy end up being entangled with gun ownership? Evidentially, the new policies set forth by the president will allow doctors to turn in their patients medical records so that they can impede on that person’s second amendment right to own a gun.
If that sounds illegal to you, you may be right. HIPPA explicitly protects a patient from involuntary disclosure of medical records, but a broad exclusion for purposes of law enforcement opened up the door for Obama’s administration to exploit.

Sad how our country turned to$#%&!@*from a few rich bad children!
Why???
If my doctor tried this c**p id go after them.
All liberals and college kids will be on the list since they all see counsellors and shrinks
That’s wrong.Hope they won’t do it.
Where is the freedom in America. Law abiding citizens should be allowed to own a gun. Obama appears to be trying to disarm Americans while allowing immigrants into the country. It’s not safe.
Executive orders vs executive actions?
Ok so if your crazy just don’t go to the doctor!

so Obama is breaking the hippa law with the D.O.J.all Americans will be able to sue Obama after he is out of office and the attorney general for the Government law violation.
