Obama Threatens Those Who Choose Safety for Citizens
In a show of moderate sensibility, more than two dozen Republican governors indicated that they would rather not invite ISIS militants into their states and said they would resist refugee placement, even if they make a great pita bread. They also provided a letter to Obama citing their concerns and reminding him of strong public sentiment against the program, which became especially pronounced after U.S. citizens learned of the November 12 attack on Paris that killed and maimed hundreds, also that it was carried out by Islamic terrorists seeking to spread their particular brand of the religion of peace. Strangely, Obama did not seem to be interested in hearing what ordinary citizens who can only golf two or three times a month had to say.
In the House, lawmakers, including a sizable number of Democrats, approved a bill that would improve screening for Iraqi and Syrian refugees. The bill does not halt the refugee influx, but there is some question about the ability of the immigration department to determine which Syrian has a bald head under his turban, and which is hiding explosives.
It seems a valid concern when you find out that there are 11 million, or perhaps 25 million, illegal aliens already in the country that the federal government seems unable to find except when delivering welfare checks to them and seeking votes from them.
As he often does when caught in an inconsistency, Obama lashed out and stated that the vetting process is already thorough and can take two years to complete. Which is curious given the plan to settle the refugees in the next few months. As one wag said, if you like your terrorist, you can keep your terrorist. In any case, the battle continues, and the bill is still pending. Simply put;
The bill requires comprehensive background checks of every refugee from Iraq or Syria before they can be admitted into the United States and certification that each does not pose a threat.
The ORR reiterated the administration’s argument, saying that Syrian refugees are subject to even more precautions than other refugees, calling it “a multi-layered and intensive screening and vetting process involving multiple law enforcement, national security, and intelligence agencies across the Federal Government.”
“It is the most robust screening process for any category of individuals seeking admissions into the United States, and it is only after admission that ORR and our partners in resettlement begin our work,” the letter said.
Republicans reacted angrily to the letter, with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte calling the Obama administration’s stance “hypocritical.”
“While the United States has the most generous refugee system in the world, the American people are rightly concerned about admitting Syrian refugees and the impact it would have on the safety of their families and neighbors,” Goodlatte, R-Va., said in a statement.
“In light of these concerns, the majority of state governors have taken positions that reflect the views of their residents. It’s hypocritical for Obama Administration officials to threaten enforcement action against these states when they refuse to enforce the vast majority of our immigration laws, such as cracking down on sanctuary cities that openly defy federal law and endanger the American people,” he said.
Obama has indicated his determination to bring in ten thousand refugees or more this fiscal year, the makeup of which seems heavily weighted on the side of young, single, military aged men. He has not yet indicated how many of these refugees he will be inviting to live in his neighborhood or with him at the Whitehouse.

There is a dark cloud on the horizon. And i don’t mean the president. I have never seen the country so divided, so full of hate, scary
Obama is an$#%&!@*of the first degree!! Our biggest loser of a president is now THREATENING states and their governors for refusing these so-called “vetted” immigrants — and despite the clam that their vetting process can take up to TWO YEARS, he’s still trying to shove them up our asses in TWO TO THREE MONTHS…HE WANTS TO COMPLETE HIS F**K YOU TO THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES BEFORE HE IS KICKED OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE. This is in spite of the fact that they damned well know “vetting” can’t be properly done when a guaranteed minimum of 90% of the records needed for PROPER VETTING have been destroyed in bombings, burnings…AND BY ISIS DIRECTLY!!!
you gonna do that redline thing again,or just cry.
