One of Obama’s many attempts to mock Republicans has backfired on him in the most damning way possible.
Speaking in an interview, the President tried to delegitimize the GOP’s concerns about possible terrorists slipping into the US alongside the thousands of Syrian refugees slated for admission into the country, chortling that they were scared of mere “widows and orphans.”
“At first, they were too scared of the press being tough on them in the debates,” Obama said sneeringly, continuing, “Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”
