Obama Speeds Up Importation of Syrians

Migration wave overwhelming U.S.

The White House has not said how many migrants they are seeking to take in over the next year, but two senior administration officials said they are looking for ways to grow the total and to accelerate the process.  Given that the U.S. economy is still relatively stagnant and the labor participation total shows that almost 100 million people are out of the labor force, there are suspicions that the Syrian refugee program has less to do with compassion and benefits to the U.S. economy and more to do with increasing the number of Democrat supporters.

It has also been pointed out that U.S. mayors and governors are not being queried about the appropriateness of  having thousands of migrants dumped into their cities and states, and that the largest numbers are being placed into predominantly conservative areas.

The entire issue may come to a head in the wake of the attack on Paris this past weekend when Islamic terrorists, posing as Syrian refugees, made their way across middle eastern borders into France and massacred 129 people in mass shootings and suicide vest bombings, with many more injured.  The attack may finally cause the Obama administration to respond to questions about the risk to American citizens of bringing thousands of Middle Eastern people into the country without being certain of their heritage or intent.

About 250,000 people have died and an estimated four million driven abroad as refugees because of the Syrian conflict, which began in 2011 with protests against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, which has evolved into a full-blown civil war. The majority of the refugees have flowed into neighboring nations such as Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon but hundreds of thousands have also made their way to Europe.

While the civil war is a tragedy, the willingness of the Islamo-faschists to capitalize on the events in Syria to spread global terror demands that the Obama administration put a halt to the aggressive immigration program and evaluate whether there is an alternative to dumping thousands of Syrians on cities throughout the country. While compassion is a virtue, the first responsibility of a president is to consider and protect the safety of the nations citizens.

While many governors are now openly rejecting Obama’s efforts to place these so-called migrants in their states, one can see that a showdown between the feds and local governments is imminent.
