Obama Signs Bill that Strikes “Racist” Language from Law

It appears as if both Congress and President Obama have simply given up on doing anything meaningful in the last few months before the general election.

It’s been quite a while since any major legislation from the hill has made news, but today we finally got signs of life from Washington D.C. In a rare sign of bipartisanship, a bill was passed unanimously in both legislative chambers this week.

Don’t get too excited. The bill in question was as inconsequential as they come. In fact, despite being signed by the President, it doesn’t change the law one bit. Instead, it simply removes “racist” terminology included in bills passed throughout our nation’s history.

Alas, it seems the only thing our congress can agree on nowadays is the need for P.C. pandering.
