On Monday Obama plans to announce an executive order to ‘increase oversight’ on the rapid militarization of local police, which is in response to public outcry over the ‘war police’ seen in the Ferguson riots.
This EO does nothing to actually reduce this rapid militarization. It simply provides more ‘regulation’ – and if we are to take history into account regarding governmental regulations we can expect that this executive order will do nothing but provide a framework to increase militarization.

Body cameras? Like the one on the cop in New Mexico, that malfunctiond all 3 times this year that he injured or killed a suspect? I think it’s another “feel good” idea, that’s not going to do much good. Kinda like The Partiot Act and The Free Trade Agreement sounded good on the surface, but didn’t turn out so good for the public.

More militarization of the police? Isn’t this one of the big problems that people are having problems with? Can we now state that the United States are a “Police State”. And that Constitution and Bill of Rights mean absolutely nothing! Forgive me, I actually worry about the fate of our Nation!
