While everybody was understandably focused on Donald Trump’s inauguration and the leftist outrage surrounding it, few noticed a shocking move that the outgoing president quietly engaged in before leaving the White House forever.
It’s a another example of Obama carrying out his personal agenda that obviously would have lacked legislative or even popular support. Of course, with his track record of legislating from his desk and refusing to enforce laws if he didn’t feel like it, it isn’t exactly a surprise.
With Trump in the White House now, we can breathe a sigh of relief that Obama’s reign of unrestricted executive power has come to an end, but the damage done by it will remain with us well into the future.

Scumbag.
Trump got it back.
we need to hang him
Please do we still have to look at his picture. He was trying to screw this country. Thank God Trump came when he did
This is basically what he did for 8 years. Should we be surprised now?
That’s our boy!
Should be a law passed tying a presidents hands to do any kind of transfer of money or whatever except for tying up lose ends before transition.
One sunny day in January, 2017, an old man approaches the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He speaks to the U.S. Marine standing guard and says,
“I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.”
…
The Marine looks at the man and says,
“Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here.”
The old man says,
“Okay,” and walks away.
The following day the same man approaches the White House and says to the same Marine,
“I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.”
The Marine again tells the man,
“Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here.”
The man thanks him and again walks away.
On the third day, the same man approaches the White House and speaks to the very same U.S. Marine, saying,
“I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.”
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looks at the man and says,
“Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I’ve told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don’t you understand?”
The old man looks at the Marine and says,
“Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.”
The Marine snaps to attention, salutes, and says,
“See you tomorrow, Sir!”
David Manfield We have terrorists in the US too and some people here harbor them. Does that mean no one in the US should be rewarded in any way?
Yes, terrorism is much more an active problem there, but this is a place where the citizens live in a country that America doesn’t recognize as actually being a country, just a kind of no-man’s land.
Our principles are that every people has the right to determine their government and have sovereignty over their own affairs. Yet we’ve chosen not to grant that to Palestine. If you lived in the US and we were told we were not a nation and our neighbors were claiming our cities would you just sit by and let it happen, or would you fight back with whatever means were at your disposal?
I have no love for many of the governments of the world. Palestine included. But the people that live in those places are human beings, many of them just want peaceful prosperous lives. Efforts we make to prevent war, such as shoring up basic infrastructure so folks have water and electricity, is both helpful at dissuading violence and just makes some people’s lives better.
I can respect the idea that there may be better ways to spend money in the world, or in our own country. i don’t want to solve everyone’s problems. But… as a nation we are the richest and most powerful and it shows well of our character that we be generous and peace loving. And whatever your priorities, to suggest such humanitarian aid is treasonous, is madness.
