Barack Obama may be in the final months of his term, but that doesn’t mean he’s done accumulating power.
The federal government has been growing steadily ever since Obama has taken office. Despite what his Democratic predecessor Bill Clinton has said, the “era of big government” is alive and well thanks to our current president. It’s not because public opinion has turned back in favor of big government, though. It’s because Barack Obama wants big government back, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make it so.
We’ve already seen this through his excessive and illegal abuse of executive action — essentially rendering congress useless — but now he’s looking to take rights away from average Americans, too.
The latest victims of Obama’s federal overreach may be the fishermen feeding our country’s coasts.

Put him away too
Ms. Ramirez, you have it figured correctly. Remember when Bill Clinton left the Presidency he said that his dream was to become Secretary General of the U. N.. That was also Obama’s dream. Imagine Hillary President of the U. S. and Bill the Secretary General of the U. N. God help the U. S.! Broke, hungry and screwed- totally vulnerable to control by a One-World_Government. Dream accomplished.
Idiot traitor !
My friend, you have seen nothing like destruction until he closes commercial fishing to U. S. commercial fishermen and it is left unattended (uncontrolled) and open to foreign fishing fleets. They destroy it all. I was an Ocen Survey Technician stationed for a while off the west coast of Africa (Senegal). The coastal waters were teeming with fish at the time. Suddenly in came the commercial fishing fleets of Northern Europe with their factory ships and highly effecient trawlers. In a short time the fish were gone and the very productive coral reefs and rolling sandy bottom was stripped bare and planed smooth and almost level by the effecient trawls and electronic gear. No control and no regulations. The fishery is gone. The thousands of coastal natives who were small craft fishermen have no more livelihood. At least the fisheries off the coasts of the U. S. are controlled and patrolled by government agencies now. Mother ships and their fleet of trawlers take everything in and on the sea bottom when they come. Thery strip it clean quickly, most of the time before any laws can be enforced to stop or minimize it. I come from a commercial fishing family, so do not tell me about commercial fishing. I also understand the facts concerning what and why things happen at sea.
He leaves it can be all undone !
IWorth Mason what makes you think that if we close US waters, within the 200 mile economic exclusion zone, that foreign vessels are going to come and fish it? Isn’t the 200 mile exclusion zone just that, an exclusion zone that only US vessels can fish it? We all know about what happened in Africa, but What makes you think that if we enforced this zone it would be unregulated and un patrolled like Africa?
Go ahead stupid, Trump will repellent it
It’s always something
Good luck fool- are you going to go and patrol the waters to make sure nobody fishes? This has to be a hoax………..MPA
Yap watch out
