In reference to the tragic shooting in Roanoke, a very disturbed, angry man planned far in ahead, to shoot two ex-coworkers. He was single minded, and nothing it seems was going to stop him. And yet, the “debate” on gun rights start again.
At a White House press conference Press Secretary Earnest stated:
Earnest said there are “common sense” steps Congress can take to reduce gun violence in America without infringing on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.
The spokesman said he has not discussed the shooting with the president, but noted, “The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the White House are with the families of those who were killed.”
The key statement here is “without infringing on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.” The problem is not “law abiding citizens.” Law abiding citizens will abide by all the laws, if NO ONE can buy a gun, or has to go through extreme background checks, (which are good), they will follow the law. The issue is the people who do not follow the law–people who are going to go BOOM, as the shooter wrote in his manifesto. Those people will find a way, any way to get a gun. And those who follow the law will not have a gun. Certain drugs are illegal, yet drug addicts will get those drugs, at any cost. Its not the gun, its the people who are holding that gun. And if they are going to have a gun, then we should too.

His devicive leadership only supports black criminals. I knew he would encourage and embolden black criminals. He is a disgrace to a country who was making enormous strides toward equality.
