We know there is no lock box where the government keeps the pile of cash they need to pay out to Social Security recipients. There is simply a stack of IOU’s government officials have put there, knowing that the day is coming when current receipts being used to pay retirees will not be enough to cover the total. It is a ponzi scheme that both parties are in on. We also know that if workers had the same amount of money that is taken from their checks for the social security “savings” trust to invest, they would end up being multi-millionaires rather than getting a paltry $2,000 or $3,000 a month. It is theft, pure and simple, brought to you by the U.S. Government.
Here is another scam that is designed to siphon off cash from retirees for government purposes. Under Barack Obama, the “working man’s friend,” there was a shortfall between gas tax receipts and projected highway spending. The president and his accomplices in crime looked around to find another source of revenue to pilfer, and they found it in the private pension plans of workers who will depend on those funds for comfortable retirement. That is not going to be the case.
See government plan for stealing pension funds on page 2:
I’d rather see them lined up and shot!
It’s treason to take from the workers who are no longer young enough to take on a lengthy lawsuit and retirees who no one wants to represent. The main things is,,,, These workers, worked under a good faith bargaining agreement and they upheld their part of the agreement,,, SO, what makes the lawgivers think now they can just ignore that contractual agreement?
Yeah, these scumbags keep taking money out of Social Security to use and says it will go bankrupt soon. My question is we pay billions of dollars into Social Security every year why is it going bankrupt? They say it’s because of the baby boomers but I don’t believe that at all. They are stealing from us and we’re just letting them do it.
And stealing from social security to prop up the failing Obamacare
now, hes nothing more than a comon thief …….
Am also a TX retired teacher & turning Medicare age this month. Never got my required quarters since I taught school for 35 yrs & school districts don’t let us contribute to ss. Back in the 80s, state politicos were afraid double dipping by teachers would make us ‘filty rich’! Its been fun trying to get directions & who to call to set up a new health insurance plan that I pay for monthly with my existing aetna ins, plus almost beg social sec to grant me a meeting to allow me to purchase Medicare part B which I’ll be paying for monthly. Have done that finally but haven’t received my Medicare card yet?? It’s been some experience.
Wow and I hear all the influx of new arrivals are ALL getting free Medicare just for entering our country. Empowering for some…
you b are going to hell
Gloria Gonzalez Pena The process took me 3 months and 4 meetings at the social security office waiting at least 2-3 hours each time. It is criminal that we don’t receive the full benefit when we contributed!
Have you seen that new house of his we’ve paid for? Well, it has a 10 car garage to accommodate his life time secret service. Meanwhile our vets beg for dollars on the streets.
Should he ever actually be tried for treason, Congress should be included in the indictment.
