Obama: Americans Only Fear ISIS Because Of The Media

The latest excuse for ISIS dominating our media is… the media itself.

From Independent Journal:

“I think what’s fair is that post-Paris you had a saturation of news about the horrible attack there and ISIL combines viciousness with very savvy media operations.

And as a consequence, if you’ve been watching television for the last month all you’ve been seeing, all you’ve been hearing about, is these guys with masks or black flags who are potentially coming to get you.”

That’s what he said. It’s not the series of real attacks, the trail of blood and carnage that is fueling fears, it’s the media telling you it happened.

President Obama’s team tried this before with blaming the Benghazi attacks on a YouTube video. He escaped responsibility for that by hiding behind Secretary Clinton’s pantsuit. She resigned and President Obama won reelection against an opponent who was too timid to take him to task on his fumbling in the face of Islamic terrorism.

This latest narrative of blaming the media will not last long and the President will have to make a Rose Garden speech explaining his handling of ISIS yet again.
