The New York Police Department is under scrutiny for the use of X-ray vans, new vehicles that patrol the streets, using X-ray technology to see through the body of a vehicle in order to check for weapons, explosives or drugs. While they’ve been labeled as a counter-terrorism measure, people are growing concerned over the health and privacy implications of such a vehicle.

PS: the next time you have an xray, remember, they put that lead cover over certain areas of the body for a reason, it isnt to look good, its to protect your DNA and reproductive systems from X-RAY damage, those using backscatter x-rays are NOT protecting you from that damage.

not just the invasion of privacy..but throwing that much X-Ray and radition to get pics like that is enormous..what about the health risk you are causing to innocent ppl?
