The New York Police Department is under scrutiny for the use of X-ray vans, new vehicles that patrol the streets, using X-ray technology to see through the body of a vehicle in order to check for weapons, explosives or drugs. While they’ve been labeled as a counter-terrorism measure, people are growing concerned over the health and privacy implications of such a vehicle.

Warrant we don’t need no stinking warrant…!
Total Recall. The future is now. What non-criminal person would mind this? You own a cell phone and you say you’re worried about radiation?
impossible, wont work.
Backscatter scanners can damage a persons DNA by unzipping it, in effect these scanners are damaging peoples DNA and health for their ‘peace of mind’
I have a cellphone but I NEVER put it in my pocket
Passive observation is not protected under the fourth amendment. You don’t need probable cause for passive observation. It falls under the same statis as monitoring speed by radar.
Can you show even remote proof of your claim? A three second scan versus having a cell phone glued to your head twenty four hours a day.
Um its been proven by scientists dearie, Cellphones are only ambient radiation, backscatter rays are a whole different animal
The forth amendment is breached this isn’t PASSIVE OBSERVATION UNLESS YOURE A MORON… No it is a search by any legal standard you use unless of course the moron bend over and grab your ankles TSA response
Plus the backscatter hits your entire body, the cellphone only that one location, cellphones DONT unzip and damage permanently your DNA.
