NY politician Victor Tabone claimed he was too drunk to recognize that the briefcase filled with $20,000 he accepted in the back of an SUV was a bribe. He stated that the 6 or 7 vodka tonics he had at dinner made him think that the bribe was actually a contract to hire him as a political consultant.
As part of an undercover FBI sting operation, Tabone was one of 3 other politicians caught in the bribery scheme.
crooked and cheap , disgusting!
Well if that is the case then he is unfit to hold any office
Guessing he was a libtard
Yet another crooked politician. What excuses have all the others come up with? Makes us wonder..
No body else is cut any slack for being drunk and committing crime so jail this dirt ball thieving traitor.
Just good ole boy politics, as usual!!!
We have, now, a new term for our court systems and prosecution of lawbreakers. In addition to DUI for “Driving Under the Influence” ….. we also, now have “TUI” ….. “Taking Under the Influence”. Prohibition, here we come!
Being drunk, when committing a crime, is not a defense. It was a choice to take that drink!
No only is he a crook but another liar……and such a poor lie at that…..
Agreed. In most courts, the DUI is not a defense for anything …. unless, of course, the Defendant has promised to take the Judge on his next bar hopping venture and pay the tab.
