“I can no longer defend my hospital at all,” stated Brianna Aguirre, a nurse at the Dallas hospital who treated Ebola patient Thomas Duncan.
She came forward to state that their infectious disease unit had no idea of the protocols needed to handle the patient. Not only was Duncan was held in close contact with other patients, but the medical staff working with Duncan had no protective clothing and worked with other patients after leaving Duncan.
When Aguirre worked with a nurse that was infected with Ebola she was dressed in protective clothing, but her neck was completely exposed, threatening her with infection.
Aguirre reveals many more stupid things this hospital did in their treatment of Patient Zero.
And now a person who handled EBOLA blood on a Carnival cruise line! Quarentined for what ever that means! A little late ya think? No end to the stupidity! This was all uncalled for if we had a flight ban from these affected countries! But no! Why? Our King said so!
I’m so proud of this young lady for standing up and doing the right thing by informing the WORLD about the problems at the hospital. I just hope she is able to find a new job somewhere else. I doubt seriously she has much of a future, or even a job at this hospital.
Not good for the American people!!Ban flights from Africa!!! Secure our Southern border!!
good for her but I bet she won’t be working there for long
What is with the questionnaire ?? —- It only addresses one half of the problem — my concern is I don’t know where my everyday causal contacts where. CDC is handling this situation with incompetence.
Send them to the white house.
Our government should have a internet site for the procedure and cure of this Disease, one where all Doctors and Hospitals could go to learn what to do! This is just like when HIV, was first introduced to us, and there is too much at steak to have the CDC, act as though they know, a 100% of, what they are doing, when, after seeing that, the United States Army Manual, indicate this Ebola disease can be passed through the air, just after CDC, indicated otherwise. The internet site should have short vedio clips from each medical team, including Africa, that have been working on this problem. Why would our government, not protect us better, by stopping flights from the countries with the most Ebola? Also why will they not shut down our borders, and indicate to us, that we, American Citizens, are more important, than any Amnesty or Imigration Bill, right now? Take a political rest, on helping law breakers, above the Protection of your own citizens.
Is there a video here? I’m just finding ads
Well i guess we all are doomed because all hospitals are the same.
I think it was obvious to the world that we weren’t and still are not prepared to handle Ebola – NBC Dr. and staff roaming around in public after exposure, one nurse fling to Cleveland and back, another nurse going home to be with her boyfriend , both of these coming down with Ebola. Just look at all the multiple exposure that caused – OBAMA HAS NO CLUE, but he’s a cool dude; what an idiot.
