This past Monday, Oregonians travelled from across the state and political spectrum for hearings on three Senate bills designed to further gun control initiatives.
Senate sponsors testified in support of the legislation, except for two of the proposed bills, for which no sponsors were identified.
Governor Kate Brown spoke in favor of two of the measures, noting they would reduce domestic violence, prevent suicides, and avoid public shootings by those with mental issues.
A lobbyist for the National Rifle Association (NRA) was on hand as well. Find out how she testified regarding the constitutionality of the proposed legislation on the next page.
Bad
We need protection around the clock can you do it if not need our own weapons
Against constitution
How is it that states can override the Constitution? States anti-gun bills should be null and void. Amen!
This will get more people killed !!! Just like Chicago who has struck gun laws !!! The criminals don’t follow laws they just see it as a way to rob people and not worry about getting killed by a armed citizen !!!!
Founding Fathers wanted us to have guns to keep the government from taking over
Looks like Oregon is full of lost.liberals ! Vote their rears out or have a recall and get rid of the gun grabbing left wingers !!
Proof Liberalism is a mental disorder and America’s greatest threat from within!
It seems it is okay to to get stoned, just cant arm your self
This is what the libtards in Portland want, the rest of the state is full of Americans who are losing their rights as an American if this bill is passed. Shameful and treasonous!
