This past Monday, Oregonians travelled from across the state and political spectrum for hearings on three Senate bills designed to further gun control initiatives.
Senate sponsors testified in support of the legislation, except for two of the proposed bills, for which no sponsors were identified.
Governor Kate Brown spoke in favor of two of the measures, noting they would reduce domestic violence, prevent suicides, and avoid public shootings by those with mental issues.
A lobbyist for the National Rifle Association (NRA) was on hand as well. Find out how she testified regarding the constitutionality of the proposed legislation on the next page.
Once again the liberals strike at our freedoms
Shoot first ask questions later ?
Any gun control law can be challenged for one important reason, the 2nd Amendment
Another Libtard move! Guns don’t kill people, people kill people!
Hell Oklahoma already have a law like 764. Here you have to pay to take what is called a conceal carry class which costs $60 and 50 rounds of ammo then pay to have background checks costs several hundred dollars to get the permit by time done
The way I look at it the constitution says I have the right to keep and bare arms amen and that is not to be infringed on and those that try shall be arrested for treason amen
Hell no against constitution
Those laws are specicicaly designed to harrass the law abiding gun owner and to violate their constitutinal rights. It’s a top down plan. And to think that it is their government that is dong it to their people and devoting time and money to such ventures. It is a conspiracy at which they ruin peple ives and use the government anf the courts to fund their enterprise and their cronies. Illinois is also another such Gestapo State with police tactic to go with it.
More stupid laws AGAINST Americans and their constitutional rights by idiot politicians
Oregon has VERY SERIOUS leadership problems that they, the people, must correct. From U.S. Senator to local dog catcher, LIBERAL all the way. Their most recent action is to force insurance companies to pay for abortions, straight up PAY for abortions, all abortions no restrictions. Perhaps when insurance companies look at the impact of this on their bottom lines they will abandon Oregon completely. Hardball always involves two teams, insurance companies need to shut them down.
