Jamey Smith,
your humor is scary.
Deserved it.
That cop would be prepared and put a bullet in your head to.
Why do these idiots try and run? Just follow the freaking law.
It has become a run like its a killer after you…because there truly is!
Good. next?………………….
It should not matter what color he is. Wrong is wrong. He shouldn’t have tried to hit the cop with his car. I am sorry for the parents of this young man. At some point in your life, you have to take responsibility for your actions. It’s a shame the guy did that but it is what it is.
What part of this did you people not understand:
“After talking to Fields, Sheriff Leon Lott said the deputy “tried to do his job,” but that he should not have used force against the student. While the teen was non-compliant and disrespectful, Lott said, she was not a danger to the deputy.” Officer used excessive force when it was not necessary.
Anyone who applauds Officer Field’s actions is essentially saying that they advocate the use of violence to resolve issues. In what world is it justified that a 250-300lb Male Officer with training, should use excessive force on a teenage girl, who did not threaten anyone in that room, her only crime was being non-compliant during math class.
I’m thinking the cop should have backed off as he could easily have read the plates if he didn’t already. It’s not like the kid was going to get away. The cop should be indicted. Let a jury decide.
