The National Rifle Association (NRA) issued a statement last week regarding the sale and use of “bump fire stocks” by calling on the United States government to look into the weapon accessory and determining whether or not the item would require new and improved legislation and regulation or restriction.
Despite that call by the NRA and the fact that its members have not committed the crimes that have been attributed to others, there is a cacophony of calls now from Hollywood celebrities urging people to reject the NRA and “opt out” of its membership.
With this call for a boycott of the firearms association is also a tendency to over-accentuate the culpability of these members. The Las Vegas shooter was neither an NRA member nor was he a Republican. In fact, he was a registered Democrat.

One of the funniest things I have seen in Hollywood this past year is that celebrities actually think they matter!!! No one really cares what they think but they keep hammering it out. Ignorant or stupid??

Maybe they will start the boycott by hiring unarmed security for their bodyguards…oh wait….that would not be pampered enough now would it? Actors, actresses and entertainers are paid millions to sell other people’s intellectual property, just like this ’cause’. Until they dismiss their own security, stick to saving whales and puppies.
So, Hollywood liberals who would never dream of joining the NRA are going to “boycott” NRA membership. How does that work, exactly?

I would like to see Hollywood protest guns by replacing all gun props used in all movies and TV with pink plastic water guns, starting now …that would be hilarious!
