The next showdown between the Bureau of Land Management and land owners and the militia is heating up in Oregon. Miners working in the Galice Mining District near Grants Pass have called in the Oath Keepers to intervene in a dispute with the BLM in a tense situation occurring near the one-year anniversary of the Bundy Ranch standoff that sent the BLM packing.
Sugar Pine miners have had one of the longest running operations in the U.S. Mining since the early 1870s, they have produced 10 million ounces of gold since their conception and geologists estimate they have removed only 10% of the gold from the land, making it a highly sought after terrain.

Fight BLM and most of the fed. agencys. They are no longer American. They have become our enemy.
STAND TALL $#%&!@* THEM
I completely understad wanting to take a stand…However…Reemember that the US Governnment has drones and other aircraft that can fly much higher than you can shoot, and they can drop precision munitions that leave nothing but a craiter scattered with greasy hair, teeth, and eyeballs. They also monitor all comunications, so they can SWAT you individually when you are least prepared or able to respond. You are only making your self a target…and they won’t forget. Please act WISELY. Armed opposition only plays into their hands and justifies their cracking down on all. That is what they want.
The Cons$#%&!@*ution clearly states that the Federal Government doesn’t have the right to own land.
There is no stand-off, the Oathkeepers are there at the request of the miners and mine owners to ensure the BLM does not firebomb the buildings or take physical action BEFORE the miners have their day in court. The BLM learned that over 10 million oz. of gold have been removed and geological surveys of the vein show it’s still 90% untapped. if you look at the area with google maps, the area equates to a pin head in the huge forest and hills around it. this was a revenue grab.
I am all for truth and action, but this headline is completely misleading! There is NO standoff, no blm bullies hanging around, nothing like at the Bundy ranch. The blm bullies had burned some cabins on nearby mines because they are claiming legal ground rights. I don’t know about the other cases, but in this case, the miner has rights grandfathered from before recent laws were p$#%&!@*ed and claims the right to the ground where his cabin is built. He simply requested the protection $#%&!@*istance from the Oath Keepers so the blm bullies would not burn his cabin before he has his day in court. Nothing more. Truth and Action should not use such misleading and inciteful headlines in their articles.
The Griffen creek area was named after my 3rd great grandfather, Burl bell Griffen.
Really nobody owns property it is all leased from the Government when we pay our property taxes. There are however bigger rights to land than just a regular lease would indicate.
Why hasn’t this been splattered across the national medias already!
i think they’re afraid of a ‘ Bundy Ranch’ embarr$#%&!@*ment again. When news of that hit the news and social media, people flocked to the area for the fight. at this point there’s been no agressive action from either side,
