If there’s one night and day comparison between Donald Trump and Barack Obama, besides the obvious, it’s that unlike Barack Obama, Donald Trump is not somebody who will compromise himself or be stepped on. And if his Twitter assaults show anything, it’s that he doesn’t take disrespect lying down. He always remembers, as is being demonstrated by his refusal to hire Republicans who once worked for national security.
Why, you might be wondering?
Some of the biggest names in national security are being bared from the White House because they put their names on the “Never Trump” list during the presidential campaign. And now their names have popped up on a do-not-hire list at the White House. They released a harsh letter committing themselves to preventing Donald Trump from taking office. So Trump created a harsh list barring them from working for him.
Seems fair.
Find out who was on this list on the next page.
Eager to give their leader Donald Trump a “win” on passing any significant legislation these Republican Representatives voted not only for an economically disastrous bill but one that is so morally repugnant as to be evil.
It seems that some of them might recognize this to some small degree as they are unwilling to explain and defend their vote. And those Republican Representatives, who voted in favor of this evil monstrosity of a bill, who have faced media cameras and questions don’t offer a defense but rather their hopes that the Senate will fix this legislation.
There are so many heinous aspects to this legislation it is hard to know where to begin. Perhaps that is why the Senate is not even going to touch this bill, but rather craft their own version. However, don’t expect the Senate health care bill to be much of an improvement since it is being crafted by Republican men who share many of the same values as their colleagues in the House. These values decisively show that death for tens of millions due to losing or not being able to afford health insurance is an acceptable cost for giving a tax cut to the wealthy and corporate persons among us, a tax cut which is neither necessary nor economically advantageous.
Remember that is what the American Health Care Act finally is: a tax cut disguised in health care reform. Notwithstanding the reality that these reforms do not promote health or care in any substantive fashion other than to say don’t get sick or have a preexisting condition which now not only includes diseases but assault and rape. Sarah Jones expounded on this reality noting: Trumpcare rewards men who sexually and physically attack their victims, and that is not a bug. It’s a feature.
It is hard to fathom how a bill that will lead to the death of tens of millions of people and sides with criminal offenders in matters of assault and rape is not only passed by the House in the United States of America in 2017, but also celebrated with a beer party.
Republicans who voted in favor of this bill and those who supported it in any way not only lost any remaining moral grounding they may have had but decidedly endorsed a piece of legislation that forsakes the fundamental values of this country that ensure the worth, dignity, and humanity of every person.
Perhaps you’d like to pay my wife’s $700.00 per month obamacare premium while you’re talking out of your liberal$#%&!@*..
Good job….does upcoming elections mean anything?
Name one lie
I’d kind if think this is untrue. We’ll see
Linda McClelland Wade, how’s this for starters.?
1. He said he wouldn’t bomb Syria. You bought it. Then he bombed Syria.
2. He said he’d build a wall along the border with Mexico. You bought it. Now his secretary of homeland security says “It’s unlikely that we will build a wall.”
3. He said he’d clean the Washington swamp. You bought it. Then he brought into his administration more billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street moguls than in any administration in history, to make laws that will enrich their businesses.
4. He said he’d repeal Obamacare and replace it with something “wonderful.” You bought it. Then he didn’t.
5. He said he’d use his business experience to whip the White House into shape. You bought it. Then he created the most chaotic, dysfunctional, back-stabbing White House in modern history, in which no one is in charge.
6. He said he’d release his tax returns, eventually. You bought it. He hasn’t, and says he never will.
7. He said he’d divest himself from his financial empire, to avoid any conflicts of interest. You bought it. He remains heavily involved in his businesses, makes money off of foreign dignitaries staying at his Washington hotel, gets China to give the Trump brand trademark and copyright rights, manipulates the stock market on a daily basis, and has more conflicts of interest than can even be counted.
8. He said Clinton was in the pockets of Goldman Sachs, and would do whatever they said. You bought it. Then he put half a dozen Goldman Sachs executives in positions of power in his administration.
9. He said he’d surround himself with all the best and smartest people. You bought it. Then he put Betsy DeVos, opponent of public education, in charge of education; Jeff Sessions, opponent of the Voting Rights Act, in charge of voting rights; Ben Carson, opponent of the Fair Housing Act, in charge of fair housing; Scott Pruitt, climate change denier, in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency; and Russian quisling Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State.
10. He said he’d faithfully execute the law. You bought it. Then he said his predecessor, Barack Obama, spied on him, without any evidence of Obama ever doing so, in order to divert attention from the FBI’s investigation into collusion between his campaign and Russian operatives to win the election.
11. He said he knew more about strategy and terrorism than the generals did. You bought it. Then he promptly gave the green light to a disastrous raid in Yemen- even though all his generals said it would be a terrible idea. This raid resulted in the deaths of a Navy SEAL, an 8-year old American girl, and numerous civilians. The actual target of the raid escaped, and no useful intel was gained.
12. He called Barack Obama “the vacationer-in-Chief” and accused him of playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer’s dime, not when there was so much important work to be done. You bought it. He has by now spent more taxpayer money on vacations than Obama did in the first 3 years of his presidency. Not to mention all the money taxpayers are spending protecting his family, including his two sons who travel all over the world on Trump business.
13. He called CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times “f**e news” and said they were his enemy. You bought it. Now he gets his information from Fox News, Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, and InfoWars.
What did they think was going to happen? And all the United States are watching. Believe me we are not going to forget.
Fuckem they made their bed now let them lay in it! Shows no loyalty to who they are only that they could be turncoats, leakers, or fucking garbage! How can you think that after bad mouthing and signing letters, petitions etc against a person that that person could possibly want you around them? Smh
So your another obama guy, all mad and stuff.
Loren Cheek, nope, not mad at all. Linda McClelland Wade, asked me to tell her one lie that Trump has told, so I accommodated her. Why should I be mad? He won fair and square, didn’t he?
‘Older people are going to be paying five times more’: Fox’s Chris Wallace smacks down Reince Preibus.
Appearing on Fox News Sunday, White House Chief of Staff Reince Preibus fended off host Chris Wallace who continually pointed out that the American Health Care Act (AHCA) passed by the GOP-majority House fell far short of President Donald Trump’s campaign promises that no one would lose their insurance.
“It’s up to the Senate to make improvements if they’re to be made,” Priebus told Wallace. “Everyone is excited and ready to go to work and take the time necessary to look at the bill. No one’s going to be beating down their door.”
Addressing patients with pre-existing conditions, Priebus pointed out that 176 million Americans get employer-based insurance and that they will not be affected. He added that the nine and a half million people with pre-existing conditions who fall through the cracks will keep their insurance — providing that GOP governors don’t ask for a waiver allowing them to deny coverage.
In that case, Priebus asserted, the plan provides “billions” for coverage. “Eight billion dollars over five years,” a skeptical Wallace shot back.
Wallace then cited Congressional Budget Office estimates showing 24 million people losing their insurance by 2024, which Priebus dismissed, by saying the CBO has been “wrong before.”
“That is not taking care of everybody like the president promised,” Wallace replied. “You’re rolling back Medicaid, older people are going to end up paying five times as much or even more.”
“That’s the old bill,” Priebus parried. “But that part of it stays,” Wallace replied. “That’s before the Senate takes the bill and makes it even better,” Priebus promised before complaining that Wallace was “getting into the weeds.”
