“Is it not time to end the racist, terrorist, colonialist settlement of our land, which is destroying the two-state solution?” he asked. “Is it not time for the longest occupation in history, suffocating our people, to come to an end?”

The implications of Abbas’ announcement are not yet clear. In a sense, the Oslo Accords have been lapsed since the Israeli government’s failure to withdraw its citizens by 1998, and both parties have recognized there will ultimately need to be a new agreement to achieve a two-state solution.
The failure to withdraw is due to the Palestinians completely breaking every promise in the proposed peace treaty called the Oslo Accord. Problem with Palestinian State with peacemaking is their people do not want peace with Israel! Every time a peace accord is signed, terrorists from the outlying Palestinian areas start violence.
Yet, due to the liberal “take” on Israel from Obama and his regime, leftists blast Israel with rhetoric, and thus we come to this moment played out before the world from Prime Minister Netanyahu. This man, who stands in the gap for his Country, which is surrounded by those who chant “Death to Israel” and vow it will “be gone in 25 years”.
