Netanyahu Assistant: There’s Ironclad Evidence Obama Colluded with Palestinians to Pass UN Resolution

If you were looking for someone who would be a loyal friend, Barack Obama would probably not be the first person to come to mind.  Bereft of any noble or courageous virtues, he’s the sort of guy you’d deal with only if you had to.  After all, does anyone think he supported Hillary in the election out of loyalty?  Nonsense.

So as his tenure as president comes to an end, it’s the ideal time to settle scores, pardon untold numbers of criminals, and just compress into the short time he has left all of the stuff that truly represents his priorities.  Therefore, Israel just got a taste of his vengeance at the UN.

The United States’s failure to veto a Security Council resolution condemning Israeli settlements was the “last sting of President Obama” that exposed his “true face,” unnamed Israeli officials said Saturday evening. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, thanked President-elect Donald Trump for his promise for support at the international body after he takes office.

The US’s abstention in Friday’s vote “is the last sting of President Obama. It exposes the true face of the [Obama] administration,” the officials said Saturday evening. “Now it’s easier to understand what we dealt with the past eight years.”

The move, which allowed the resolution to pass 14-0, “was expected,” the official said, and charged that “the United States acted behind the back in composing and advancing the resolution against Israel. We knew about it through Arab and international sources.”

Note that the Obama administration was not just passive in all of this by only abstaining.  Clearly, Obama’s minions were working behind the scenes to help draft the resolution.  The whole thing wreaks of cowardice and subterfuge — in other words, typical Obama.

Not satisfied with just kicking Israel in the teeth, Obama, through his spokesperson, had to make sure he gave Netanyahu a jab as well by blaming him:

Forget the Palestinian refusal to come to the bargaining table. President Obama’s deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s policies of allowing Jews to build in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem for the decision by the U.S. to abstain from yesterday’s vote on an anti-Israel United Nations Security Council resolution.

The resolution called for a halt to Israeli construction in the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem, and the text referred to those lands as “Palestinian territory occupied since 1967.”

“Netanyahu had the opportunity to pursue policies that would have led to a different outcome today,” Rhodes told reporters on a conference call on Friday, after the U.S. abstained thereby allowing the measure to pass.

“In the absence of any meaningful peace process, as well as in the accelerated settlement activity,” Rhodes said, “we took the decision that we did today to abstain on the resolution.”

“Absent this acceleration of settlement activity, absent the type of rhetoric we’ve seen out of the current Israeli government, I think the United States likely would have taken a different view,” he stated.

While we may have some differences, one thing we can certainly say that we have in common with Israel is an eagerness for January 20th.  Actually, we wouldn’t blame Israel if the nation made it day of national rejoicing.

An assistant to Netanyahu claims that there is ironclad evidence Obama worked with the Palestinians to pass the UN Resolution:
