Target has been in the headlines nonstop over the past month following their announcement that they would allow men who identify as women in women’s restrooms and changing rooms at all of its retail locations. Many on the far left and in the LGBT community praised the move as a step towards equality and inclusiveness. Others, however, have opposed the policy — strongly.
The American Family Association’s pledge to boycott the retail giant has gathered nearly 1.3 million signatures to date. The hashtag #BoycottTarget remains one of the highest trending topics across social media.
Target, however, was not the first to wade into the contentious transgender bathroom debate. After a number of contradictory city ordinances across the state of North Carolina made it to where nobody knew who was allowed in what restrooms, the state legislature passed House Bill 2 (HB2), requiring that individuals use the restroom that corresponds with their biological sex.
Since then, the United States Justice Department has sued the state of North Carolina and the Obama administration has issued guidelines requiring schools to allow students to use whichever bathroom or locker room they wish to use.
Now, a major North Carolina newspaper is comparing HB2 to the segregation of blacks and whites in the first half of the 20th century, and telling girls that if they are not okay with seeing male genitalia in their school locker rooms, they are bigots.

This is so WRONG!
That is wrong men need to be in men’s rooms not women’s.
