The Ogallala Aquifer that runs through eight states is quickly running dry. It supplies water to the American Breadbasket of the Great Plains, which is an agricultural region that feeds much of the world.
“We’re headed for a brick wall at 100 miles per hour,” states James Mahan, a plant physiologist at the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service lab in Lubbock, TX.

Tell your government to stop polluting ya water and you might have some to drink.

This happens when things like earth are change and move around and all the resource are used up, earth make it own water and cleans it natural filters. been doing this scene earth was born. This is a big power grab and this will make you a slave to BIG UNCLE SAM to fill there pocket up like queens and kings with make them the riches people on earth, complete control over every thing on earth, they want to depopulate humans at 85% of the world, we have been used as Ginny-pigs for a very long time now. This is human made in the making for over 50 years that I can remember back. Just stating my thoughts on this one.
And certain politicians and others want more water to go to LasVegas Casinios!
To much wasted water with 45 minute showers that some of these people take. Better be praying for lots of rain over the next few month at a slow pace, not floods.
Praying for rain
Nonsense
Take the water away from illegals and let em die of thirst. One less problem on our hands
It is a fact,, the Aquifer left to us the USA is about 600 feet deep,, it replenishes itself at about an Inch a year,, we have used up 100 feet of it in the past 50 years… think it is not unsustainable… think again,, we now drive wells to the bottom of it instead of just a 100 feet into it,, so we don’t have do it again.. yep in another 100-150 years it will all be gone and we will have a the American Sahara right in the middle of the USA…
We would not have this problem if the politicians ould use their heads for something other than a tool for getting themselves re-elcected and getting more money for themselves constantly.
OK so life will change
