The Ogallala Aquifer that runs through eight states is quickly running dry. It supplies water to the American Breadbasket of the Great Plains, which is an agricultural region that feeds much of the world.
“We’re headed for a brick wall at 100 miles per hour,” states James Mahan, a plant physiologist at the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service lab in Lubbock, TX.

Again truth and action spreading f**e news. SMH. Your like the “enquirer” of Facebook pages
Send the illegals home, get the government out of agriculture, and for goodness sakes, take the control of water away from the government. I’m so sick of these news reports warning of massive disasters, when they don’t have adequate information. Look at all the flooding that has occurred in the USA this year and you’ve got to wonder if everything is really “drying up”.
The spread of liberalism is far more deadly.
All of you don’t know anything. They already have built a few desalination plants to take seawater and de salt it to use it as fresh water. They have more water in the ocean that would help not some small river to try and dam up. Wake up people
But you’re against drought resistant GMO crops lol #$#%&!@*logic
There is plenty of water , our government don’t want to give to us. There are plenty of things this corrupt Obama regime can do. The government instead of sending billions of dollars to our enemies in the middle East and stop giving millions of dollars to the undocumented in this country can spend the money here , like Mike Streenzsr writes ” spend more money on dams” They can build desalination plants along the costs of America, both East and West, that’s if they wanted to.
you mean, die of dehydration.
Gotta love the great lakes
Oh please……………, just like global warming.
