小学生の部で受賞した神部さんの作文は「『ありがとう』にチェンジ！」。祖父母の家を訪ねた時の経験を基に、「ごめんね」より「ありがとう」の方がより感謝の気持ちが伝わることに気付き、これからは「ありがとう」に変えていこう、と決意した気持ちをつづった。
