A devout Muslim, Gary Nathaniel Moore, who attended a mosque for five years, seven days as week and five times a day to pray, was arrested for arson of the Houston mosque, Islamic society of Greater Houston, set Christmas day.
Moore was arrested on an early Wednesday morning, right after midnight and in court hours later. He told investigators that he had been at the mosque on Christmas day, to pray and was the last person to leave. He claimed he saw no signs of fire or smoke as he departed, only returning to the scene because a friend told him about the fire.
Moore was identified by surveillance video from area businesses by investigators. A search warrant on his home was conducted and a backpack and clothing that matched the footage and charcoal fluid lighter that seemed to be the same as a bottle found at the scene. Moore’s bond has been set at $100,000.

@ Beyza Yalcinkaya Each relegion preach it’s supremacy over others, by your logic one must practice their relegion in toto. Don’t you think it will cause utter chaos as one will evangelize it’s views on others, failing to do it one recourse to violence (terrorism). I am not certain if you are open to other’s views but if possible just introspect. The crux of the problem is religious fanaticism which is evidently manifested everywhere. How will you respect if you possess ghetto mentality, I am best, my relegion is best, others are kafirs, they will go to hell as they don’t follow Islam. Where it will end. Live and let live. Don’t evangelize, believe in social equality and give space to others as well. The only solution available is be generous to other’s even if it doesn’t follow your relegion. The whole world is a family, if you can follow it, you would do justice not only to yourself but to the society in general.
He should be given a public service award.
I never said im best or etc… Dont be biased, when you have no idea about other people. Maybe then you may live with others. I wish you could also criticise “christians know how to be more wise” sentence above. But you dont. I suggest you to read your comment for yourself too.
