The liberal narrative about climate change is starting to fall apart thanks to conscientious scientists who have spoken out in face of pressure to toe the alarmist party line.
Dissenting from the supposed consensus of scientists who believe mankind is primarily responsible for climate change, Dr. Richard Lindzen of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology cast doubt on the very existence of said consensus. Indeed, the climatologist argues that the amount of scientists who believe climate change is man-made is much lower than the left and their allies in the media make it out to be.
Speaking to talk show host Bill Frezza on RealClear Radio Hour, Dr. Lindzen claimed that the idea that researchers overwhelmingly agree on climate change has been “propaganda” from the beginning. He said that the media helps push the narrative by saying scientists agree, but never bother telling people what exactly it is that they agree upon.
Since most Americans are unfamiliar with climate science, they feel pressured to accept the claims of personalities purporting to speak on behalf of scientists, allowing the climate change consensus myth to strengthen it’s hold in the minds of citizens.

Ya know that old Trident commercial where they would say “4 of 5 dentists recommend …” or when you go to Rotten Tomatoes and see the reviews of a great movie at 98% and you say to yourself, “what was up the butt of those 2% that day” … well, that’s this guy. He’s the 5th dentist. He’s the 2% that said the movie wasn’t good. Yet, so you all get to feel good about ignoring climate change, you all cling to this one man and his opinion, all while ignoring everyone else. Confirmation bias.
Clean the brown fields and the water supplies. Stop using coal in power plants to reduce lung cancer deaths. Reduce the largest polluter of our oceans, agricultural runoff. The list of local, real and present danger pollution dwarfs global warming. Why can’t you eat oysters from long Island Sound?
Amen, brother!
(sigh) Mark Kelly per·spec·tive: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
“most guidebook history is written from the editor’s perspective” ….synonyms: outlook, view, viewpoint, point of view, POV, standpoint, position, stand, stance, angle, slant, attitude, frame of mind, frame of reference, approach, way of looking, interpretation “her perspective on things had changed”
My comment was solely based on the erroneous statement of “A scientist obviously not on the payroll”…. he was … and is … remunerated for his position on the matter …. in addition to any salary he has in his daytime job.
However, your math is accurate … it would take Lindzen 5 days a week for 6 months to garner $300,000.00.. Ms. Clinton’s former colleagues suffer from v****a envy (for lack of a better term) … where they may top out at $3,000 to $30,000 per speaking engagement … she made $250,000 at the UNLV foundation dinner.
Don’t feel sorry for the UNLV folks however … her keynote address for them was in the Tower Ballroom that seats 2065 people at $200.00 a clip (tables of 10) and that $2000.00 table can draw 10x that amount depending on corporate sponsor-ship …..
By the way … that speaking fee was paid to the Harry Walker Agency so it remains to be known how much of a lion share Hillary actually got. 🙁
