Dr. Gil Mobley believes that the CDC is lying about the danger Ebola actually poses. He is convinced that Ebola will be carried to every corner of the world.
He pointed out that the CDC stated that the odds of importing a cluster was extremely small, yet that very same day they misdiagnosed a patient in Dallas and sent him home with Ebola.

Phil you prove over and over that you really didn’t read your own link, as others pointed out. These are scientists who admit they cannot predict everything or rule out anything, but, like other credible studies I have read, they also specifically say that no other disease or virus which is transmitted through bodily fluids (hepatitis, HIV) has ever mutated into a respiratory (or “airborne”) virus. Even transmission through droplets is not airborne. If a virus requires a liquid suspension to survive in the air, it is not truly airborne. Airborne viruses can spread simply from sharing breathing space with no droplets (mucous, saliva), and they have been virtually eradicated (tuberculosis, measles). Also, for these “population control” theorists: when Ebola has existed in Southern Africa since 1976, why did the “government” wait so long to unleash it? And why not directly into the country instead of via West Africa?
Of course they lie !!!!!!
It is exhausting trying to respond to all of these, and I will be providing credible links that most will not bother reading because they want to be afraid. 1) the virus can only spread once symptoms show. An incubation period only refers to the length of time it takes to show symptoms, but blood tests can identify the virus much sooner. Before symptoms show, the virus lives only in the liver and lymph nodes. 2) the virus is believed to originate in bats, who then bite the monkeys, whose blood affects those who butcher it, whose butchers spread it to other humans. 3) it is not known how long the virus can live outside the body, but most studies show 6 to 10 hours, and none have shown days. 4) the transmission rate (in layman’s terms) of Ebola is very low. One person infects 1.5 to 2 people. No one person sick with any virus is capable of infecting hundreds of others. The numbers grow exponentially with the more cases. The infection rate of the flu is up to four (one person infects up to four others). For measles, it is 18 (because measles is truly airborne, does not require droplets to spread, only shared breathing space). Not to detract, but this is why measles vaccinations are so very important. 5) No cases in Mexico, though certain people will use any virus as a call for border control. The average Mexican does not have the disposable income to take a pleasure cruise to Africa, the way Americans do.
Ashley, we don’t need ebola to need border control . i support sending folks to fight this to africa. just once your their, stay there. the 2nd nurse, well, she knew she had it, went home to see moma one last time cause once your in hospital you don’t get to see moma an daddy. the hospitals here have never had it together so i am not too shocked at what is going on.
And most importantly: isolation does not work. Viruses do not recognize borders. Travel restrictions not only hurt the world economy, they also allow the virus to spread unchecked. For those of you erroneously believing it will mutate to become airborne, you should support the shipment of medical workers and supplies because otherwise, the epidemic in Africa will continue. Several other countries have brought patients back to their superior medical facilities (Great Britain, Germany). Also, studies show the isolating will only slow the spread of the disease by a few weeks, if that.

Wow… I actually feel like my IQ dropped reading some of Ashley’s comments.
A LOT of viruses have mutated to airborne. (Just because you list a small few that haven’t, doesn’t mean that none have! Smh)
1 person infected with a virus like Ebola can, in fact, infect more than 1.5 to 2 people.
There have been confirmed cases of Ebola in Mexico along with other countries
This Ebola strain is a different strain of Ebola that’s been in Africa since 1976
You CAN spread viruses without showing symptoms. (That’s why some people can be carriers without being infected)
Travel restrictions allow virus to spread?! That’s sooooo dumb it hurts.
I do agree with supporting shipments of medical workers a supplies, but for god sakes people, if you’re gonna try to make a comment do a little research first.
Jason you sir deserve a cookie
Conservatives beware the following statement will make your brain explode: If Ebola is or becomes airborne that means that it evolved… lol
