The Miss America pageant has become a source of political controversy yet again.
With all the hubbub over Muslims right now, liberals such as Michael Moore are rallying to their defense, with the filmmaker picketing outside Trump Tower with a sign that reads “We Are All Muslims.” Not everybody, however, is buying Moore’s argument.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Miss Puerto Rico herself, Destiny Velez, had a heated exchange with Moore over Twitter, saying that the God of Muslims was not the same as the God of Jews and Christians and that there was “no comparison” between Islam and the latter religions.
As you might have expected, a lot of people were angered by Velez’s comments, leading to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization suspending her for “actions and behavior contrary to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization.”

Miss Puerto Rico for Governor of Puerto Rico!! She certainly cannot do any worse than the current governor who is leading Puerto Rico into bankruptcy — and she is a LOT easier on the eyes!
Good Lady, suspended for free speech??? I bet if she would have citicized Christians she would be ok.
She’s Truly American
since when did we loose the right to have an opposing opinion?
