The Miss America pageant has become a source of political controversy yet again.
With all the hubbub over Muslims right now, liberals such as Michael Moore are rallying to their defense, with the filmmaker picketing outside Trump Tower with a sign that reads “We Are All Muslims.” Not everybody, however, is buying Moore’s argument.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Miss Puerto Rico herself, Destiny Velez, had a heated exchange with Moore over Twitter, saying that the God of Muslims was not the same as the God of Jews and Christians and that there was “no comparison” between Islam and the latter religions.
As you might have expected, a lot of people were angered by Velez’s comments, leading to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization suspending her for “actions and behavior contrary to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization.”

Sweet truth teller.
Beauty and Brains..
SHE DOES represent AMERICA.
Finally a beauty pageant contestant with a brain or one willing to show she has a brain and they suspend her? She’s entitled to her beliefs and the expression of those beliefs. Isn’t that what America is all about? Isn’t this what we want in a Miss America. Shame on them for trying to silence her.
Poerter Rica is not a state of the USA its a collar to drag American people down they vote in our elections, and it should be illeagle, they want to vote become a state so who cares what they do
Freedom of speech
Not just a pretty face. Liberals like there Miss America’s to be mindless dolts, liberals.

Freedom of speech ??
