The Miss America pageant has become a source of political controversy yet again.
With all the hubbub over Muslims right now, liberals such as Michael Moore are rallying to their defense, with the filmmaker picketing outside Trump Tower with a sign that reads “We Are All Muslims.” Not everybody, however, is buying Moore’s argument.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Miss Puerto Rico herself, Destiny Velez, had a heated exchange with Moore over Twitter, saying that the God of Muslims was not the same as the God of Jews and Christians and that there was “no comparison” between Islam and the latter religions.
As you might have expected, a lot of people were angered by Velez’s comments, leading to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization suspending her for “actions and behavior contrary to the Miss Puerto Rico Organization.”

i guess tellling the truth , is against these losers policies….
She has a right to her opinion sounds like to me the people who sponsor that need to get some courage
Miss Puerto Rico should be proud of speaking the truth about this vulgar and gutter religion.Americans should instead honor her for her bravery and honesty!
AMEN!!
Who cares? Really…
Don’t sweat it girl you win in my book
In every dispute there are two sides. Miss Puerto Rico owners chose to be on the ISIS side.
F Islam
So, first Amendment rights and speaking the factual truth get you suspended? There is no comparison, Allah & Islam are hateful religions. Nowhere in the Christian nor Jewish (even Morman) bibles is there talk of killing non-believers or saying it’s ok to rape children if they are non-believers…
Fock islam.
Fock Allah
