A man’s home is his castle, or at least it would be if the government didn’t go around imprisoning people for what they do on their own property.
For most of the country’s history, it has been understood that someone could do whatever they want on their property so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else or infringe on their possessions and holdings. Indeed, this notion was one of the ideas that drove the Founding Fathers to lead their countrymen to independence in the first place.
Unfortunately, the rise of progressivism has resulted in steady expansion of the state’s power, practically giving authorities free reign to dictate how Americans should conduct themselves in their own homes. It seems that there really is nothing to small for the government to stick its nose into, as Minnesota resident Jay Nygard has so painfully learned.

I don’t think this is right.
So,drag a few of those Minnesota elected officials out into the night, and beat their dumbasses back into the stone age.wtf
The headline is very misleading. If you read the article you will see that he wasn’t given jail time for building the turbine, he was given jail time for failure to fully remove it’s cement base after the city instructed him to do so and he had already removed the turbine. The order to remove the turbine was because of a lawsuit against him by neighbors who decided that it was an eyesore. Shame on you Die Hard Survivor for such a blatant misleading and sensationalist headline.
You better get those wind turbine people in jail forget about the murderers and rapists and child molesters bunch of s***
if you we not white it would be ok to do so
I was going to say the same thing Andrew. I’m not sure Due Hard Survivor even read the article. Lol.
Not eveything on the Internet is real lol
Wow, so much for going green? Electric companies can’t make $ off you if you produce your own, and if they can’t … neither can the Gov’t in fees and taxes!! MN pretty much controls the water on your land already … so why not wind turbines??
Read the article. He lost a court battle with his neighbors and went to jail because he didn’t abide by the courts demand that he remove the entire of the structure. It had nothing to do with “green” energy. Good lord read it
This is a fact….say you buy a home in a neighborhood where they tell you what you can and can’t do……for example….you can only hang certain colored Christmas lights…..
