The Obama administration has directed the military to not allow personnel to say “Christmas”, in spite of the holiday’s status as a federally-recognized holiday.
The reason given by armed forces officials is that not everyone celebrates Christmas and that out of respect for them, military members should refer to Christmas celebrations simply as “holiday”-themed festivities.
This prohibition comes in the context of a wider push for political correctness in society in general and the military in particular, as evidenced by the recent reprimanding of Navy Chaplain Wes Modder for simply discussing religion, as chaplains are wont to do, with military personnel.

Bernd Bello Then so be it. Better to go out a hero with an Oath then a coward with none.
Daryl McCullough My daughter who serves was instructed by the Base Commander that they are NOT to refer to the Holidays as “Merry Christmas” “Happy Hanuka” or anything else. They are to simply say Happy Holidays. Now, if that isn’t an order i don’t know what is. And the reason it was done was not to upset anyone not following the Christian Holidays. This was a memo/directive by Mr. Obama to the Joint Chiefs and then ordered down to individual bases at home and abroad.
So sick of Obama!!! Why was he not impeached a long time ago. He is making the U.S. weak!
Hey obama Merry Christmas assclown
