MSNBC Morning Joe hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are claiming that President Trump tried to blackmail them into providing more flattering coverage of his administration. These allegations were brought up while discussing President Trump’s Twitter habits with their co-hosts.
MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski say President Trump and his White House used the possibility of a hit piece in the National Enquirer to threaten them and change their news coverage.
But Scarborough says he has proof of White House threats earlier this year — he replied to Trump and said “I have texts from your top aides and phone records.”
Understanding these allegations of blackmail require looking back into the circumstances surrounding this leftist wanna-be power couple.
Scarborough and Brzezinski are sleazy lying cheaters who got busted for banging each other while married to their longterm respective spouses. The sort who get off just as much on the lies and deception as the extra little something on the side. This National Enquirer piece was going to pull the rug out on their little hypocritical moral platform as agents of truth.
According to Scarborough and Brzezinski, President Trump has the power to control what the National Enquirer publishes.
This year,” they wrote, “top White House staff members warned that the National Enquirer was planning to publish a negative article about us unless we begged the president to have the story spiked. We ignored their desperate pleas.”
Scarborough and Brzezinski are now engaged. The negative article was about their past marriages and the beginning of their relationship. It was published in early June.
President Trump is acquaintances with the owner of the National Enquirer, David Pecker. And the mag sometimes publishes stories portraying President Trump as the President of the free world, and not as a cartoonish character. MSM logic is difficult to decipher. But somehow it is supposed to make sense to us that because President Trump knows the owner of the National Enquirer, and even though they only print positive things about him on rare occasion, he somehow controls what they can and can’t publish…
You see this is perfect proof that the left has yet to acknowledge the reality that Donald Trump is president. How does it make sense to anyone that the leader of the free world, and yes that is President Trump, has nothing better to do with his days than threaten mediocre low-rated morning show hosts on a failing network?
But according to Brzezinski President Trump even instructed aids to harass her children.
“Let me explain what they were threatening,” she said. “They were calling my children. They were calling close friends.” She said “these calls persisted for quite some time, and then Joe had the conversations that he had with the White House where they said ‘Oh, this could go away.'”
The MSM is deranged and fighting a war for control of minds and the American economy. Consequently, former liberal White House ethic lawyers who never found anything amiss in the former administration are already chiming in to give Scarborough and Brzezinski’s accusations more credence.
“The president’s tacit admission of control over the Enquirer’s punishing coverage of his adversaries suggests an abuse of power — a shocking one,” said Norm Eisen, a former White House ethics czar.
And like every good MSM hit piece aiming to assassinate the character of the president, it ignores actual evidence in favor of unnamed sources.
On Friday, the editor in charge of the Enquirer, Dylan Howard, said “we have no knowledge of any discussions between the White House and Joe and Mika about our story, and absolutely no involvement in those discussions.”
President Trump has a very different account of what happened. “FAKE NEWS,” he tweeted during “Morning Joe” Friday morning.
BUT this is what they focus on as they attempt to get this latest tale of the ground…
Critics suggested that if Scarborough and Brzezinski’s version of events is accurate, it should be investigated.
And an NBC News spokesman told CNN that Scarborough kept several executives apprised of the alleged threats “contemporaneously.” This may bolster Scarborough’s stunning claim.
These accusations are ridiculous. The logic behind these accusations is non-existent. But it’s all the MSM can talk about this weekend.
In times like this people need to be asking themselves, what is the real news that is being hidden behind all this nonsense? Who owns MSM and why are they trying to keep the people blocked from focusing on the real issues? Ohh, wait it’s also the MSM who calls the American voters “pieces of shit” and the liberal politicians calling Trump supporters “mammals”, the people who don’t believe in the people, democracy and America.
