In many ways, children today are accused of being sheltered little cupcakes who have no idea what it is like to face adversity. Everyone has the grandpa or great-uncle that will tell you how they had to walk five miles to school in the freezing snow — uphill both ways, of course. These pampered little kids today have no idea what it was like.
But children going through school in 2016 also must deal with plenty of unfathomably ridiculous injustices that their parents and grandparents never had to endure. Things such as Common Core math problems, symposiums on white privilege, lectures about microaggressions, the bigotry of “gendered language,” and the confusion over why boys are suddenly allowed in the girls’ restrooms.
So yes, while children today are sheltered from many things, stupidity is not one of them.
Recently, a 13-year-old student at a Houston-area middle school became the subject of a full-scale forgery investigation when she tried to pay for her chicken fingers with a $2 bill.
To read about the ridiculous lengths to which the school district’s police department went in their investigation, and to learn their findings, continue reading on the next page:
Hey, the cops were dumber than the school. They bothered to track it as a counterfeit note.
Now, that is one smart detective.
Crazy stupid liberals
There are way to many ignorant people in the world.
And you wonder why I want to see a ban on all liberal teachers. They don’t teach they brainwash.
No wonder kids are so lacking in education…look who’s teaching them! Idiots!
The one thing that most of these SHOCKING! “news stories” that appear on these Facebook pages share, is a total lack of DETAILS. I am talking about BASIC details such as the date and exact location that the purported news story takes place. Names of Schools, Businesses, Cities and people are curiously absent. I remember hearing about a story similar to this one or two years ago. i believe that an industry has evolved that creates a never-ending stream of news stories, based on old news reports that are sometimes many years old. With the headlines designed to give a reader just enough interest to grab your attention and trick you into clicking on their story so that your browser opens another window into a site filled with over 30 advertisements of “click bait”…. There is a mild form of entertainment in reading the comments of all of the people who get their emotions all stirred to a frenzy with these factless stories. Give me at least four of the five “W”s, (Who, What, Where, When, and Why) or it’s safe to say that these stories either never happened, or are just a vague rehash of old news packages to lure you into their click-bait.
liberal idiots no doubt
First clue -it’s a $2 dollar bill! I’ve never heard of a counterfeit bill less than $20. If those police officers are getting paid $45K and didn’t know it was real, they are being paid too much.
Stupid school officials and employees as well as stupid cops. She should sue the school and cops
These are the people that teach our children?
