The Michigan Dept. of Agriculture last year forced Joe and Brenda Golimbieski, the owners of Hill High Dairy and Jenny Samuelson, the owner of My Family Co-op, to dump 248 gallons of organic milk and destroy 100 dozen eggs along with fresh cream, butter and cheese after accusing them of “selling food without a license.”
Their farm is a co-op, however, where people must buy shares to obtain food. The MDA stated that their contracts were invalid so the food wasn’t ‘shared’, but ‘sold’.

this is damn ridiculous big goverment looking out for big bussiness no one should have to have a licence to grow or sell farm goods this needs to be stoped This is what is happening to our small familey farms

The EPA should be there backing up these farmers. What a waste of food that could go to the border to feed the kids. What a $#%&!@* faced Michigan Dept of Ag.
Our government shows over and over that they are America’s Number One Enemy.
If THE GOV DONT LEAVE US ALONE WE WILL STARVE TO DEATH…ONE WAY TO GET RID OF US…..SAD TO WAST ALL FOOD ,WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE CAN USE IT…SAD SAD……
Terrible waste when there are those in our country who are going hungry. So blasted absurd I cannot say all that I think of this!!
