The Michigan Dept. of Agriculture last year forced Joe and Brenda Golimbieski, the owners of Hill High Dairy and Jenny Samuelson, the owner of My Family Co-op, to dump 248 gallons of organic milk and destroy 100 dozen eggs along with fresh cream, butter and cheese after accusing them of “selling food without a license.”
Their farm is a co-op, however, where people must buy shares to obtain food. The MDA stated that their contracts were invalid so the food wasn’t ‘shared’, but ‘sold’.

we all need to take a stand and soon.
With all the families in dire need of food and something like this comes up. Starving families are all around that would really appreciate some milk and eggs but $#%&!@*s make the farmers destroy it rather then feed the needy. It would be a blessing if these government personnel that brought this to be were put in a position where they were in great need of some food and someone with loads of food would dump all of it right in front of them and destroy every ounce of it. GD
America is so damned rich, our government can destroy food and not think a thing about it. We could have helped hundreds of families with these dairy products. Better yet, the government could have allowed to sell off what they had to the people that bought into the company. What a waste.
disgraceful, with all of the hunger in our own country. People want and deserve and alternative choice for their food needs
Socialism 101 .
Free in Amerika?
Typical dumb ass goverment decision.
And so many people starving !!! This is so WRONG !! What is the matter with people !!
This is corrupt and not right.
All the government knows how to do is waste and destruction…
