The Michigan Dept. of Agriculture last year forced Joe and Brenda Golimbieski, the owners of Hill High Dairy and Jenny Samuelson, the owner of My Family Co-op, to dump 248 gallons of organic milk and destroy 100 dozen eggs along with fresh cream, butter and cheese after accusing them of “selling food without a license.”
Their farm is a co-op, however, where people must buy shares to obtain food. The MDA stated that their contracts were invalid so the food wasn’t ‘shared’, but ‘sold’.

Let’s tar and feather those rat bastards!
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard.
Hopefully if enough people wake up and see what’s happening at both state and federal levels it will be enough to spark a real change not a false hope of one.
Wonder why that state is going to and through hell dumb ass state govt. Bob.
I’d say I’m surprised but with everything the Fed gov Is ( should say isn’t ) doing I’m not
People find a way to live and if the gov and agencies don’t get a piece of the pie they throw temper tantrums and everyone suffers.
I’m against wasting food and what they did to this dairy farm is awful but I think it has to do with improving michigans economy, big corporates will provide more jobs and that’s all the government is worried about, so I kinda understand. I just hate how they treat cows, I mean the dairy next to us has more then 500 cows in one small land jailed where they don’t even have space to set down, and they milk them 24/7 their boobs is as big as their head. Back home I lived in a village and my mom will milk the cow only in the morning and about 1 liter a day, but then again there’s to much people in the states and if the dairies go organic then there will not be enough food to feed the people all year long. it’s kinda hard situation.
