Michelle Obama isn’t happy that Donald Trump is rolling back the school lunch requirements she helped launch several years ago. This week, she went public with her grievances.
“Why don’t you want our kids to have good food at school?” Obama asked. “What is wrong with you?”
“This is really where you have to look at motives,” she said.
“Think about why someone is ok with your kids eating crap,” Obama continued. “Why would you sit idly and be ok with that?”
The former first lady implied that the Trump administration does not care about children, due to its slashing of regulations.
The only person who was okay with “kids eating crap” is Mrs. Obama. She may be the only person in the world who managed to make public school food worse. “Good food” this was not. It was small, disgusting, and disliked by students across the country.
With this development, Trump may have extended his populist appeal well below voting age. Come 2020, he might have a new crop of thankful young voters eager to keep him in office.
