McCain Vows to Break Another Promise and Save Obamacare From Ruin

With not an ounce of dignity, respect, or regard for the American voter, Senator John McCain (and I seethe every time I have to use that title in front of his name because he honestly doesn’t deserve it) has once again opted to SAVE THE UNAFFORDABLE CARE ACT (OBAMACARE) EVEN IF IT BANKRUPTS THE NATION!

You heard that right!  Just yesterday, Senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy put forward a repeal bill that would effectively get rid of this horrendous piece of garbage that has cost the American insurance industry billions in losses, cost the American people loss of coverage, and taxpayers loss of pocket change and their sanity!

John McCain made a ridiculous (and typical) Swamp RINO excuse for why he wanted to save Obamacare because he’s a mealy-mouthed coward with no spine left after a humiliating loss to Barack Hussein Obama in 2007.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in a statement on Friday that he will oppose the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill. McCain’s vote against Graham-Cassidy effectively tanks renewed efforts to repeal Obamacare.

McCain said in a statement:

I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will effect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which won’t be available by the end of the month, we won’t have reliable answers to any of those questions.

This is the second time McCain saved Obamacare from repeal in the Senate. He first tanked Obamacare in August when he and Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME) voted against the “skinny” Obamacare repeal bill. The measure failed by one vote.

McCain added that he takes no pleasure in derailing legislation sponsored by his friends Sens. Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy and hopes that Congress can strike a bipartisan deal on the future of health care.

McCain concluded his statement by saying, “I hope that in the months ahead, we can join with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to arrive at a compromise solution that is acceptable to most of us, and serves the interests of Americans as best we can.”

McCain should go down in history as one of the most two-faced and dishonest politicians to ever hold office and it would not be a stretch to opine that, like many of his fellow POWs in Vietnam have already stated, he threw the nation under the bus as quickly as he threw his fellow POWs under the bus while incarcerated in a very nice “prison” cell of solitary confinement.

Like his lies of torture and captivity, McCain appears to enjoy lying to the American people because the lackeys in the Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC) will cover his disgusting string of deceitful statements by burying any evidence of his “promises.”  Check out this video from his campaign to repeal of Obamacare:

We would do well simply to vote this man out of office.  He’s already set up for life with a posh disability pension, a senator’s pension, a representative’s pension, Cadillac healthcare, and millions of dollars worth of selling out to companies in Africa and the Middle East, not to mention a Foundation in the same style as the Clintons that will help bring in millions for his wife and his loud-mouthed, know-nothing daughter at Fox News.

The voters in Arizona will be tasked with this mission, of course, but let’s just hope that he decides to get out of office soon and leave his scorched earth policies behind.  He’s already done enough damage to America.
