Mayor Khan: Terror Attacks are “Part and Parcel of Living in a Big City”

It’s tough to say what our friends in London were thinking when they elected Sadiq Khan as mayor considering his extremist ties. Perhaps they were overcome with some sort of left-wing compulsion to prove to the world how open-minded they are by electing a Muslim as mayor. Yet this man is completely unsuited to lead any city, let alone one of the West’s most important capitals.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has said that living with terror attacks – like the one that hit New York at the weekend – is ‘part and parcel of living in a big city’.

Mr Khan told the Evening Standard: ‘It is a reality I’m afraid that London, New York, other major cities around the world have got to be prepared for these sorts of things.

‘That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but also it means exchanging ideas and best practice.’

No, sir. It does not mean exchanging ideas or being in touch with anyone. It means condemning any ideology, any religion that promotes or tolerates such violence. It means rooting out terrorist cells, and deporting or arresting those involved in planning violent acts. It means returning safety to the city.

Those are the very things, Mr. Khan, you cannot and will not do because a segment of your supporters are the very people who hold to radical Islamist views, and they would probably take you out if you cracked down on terrorism as you should. As a result, as long as you are mayor, people will suffer in London due to your deliberate misgovernment.

And that’s the simple truth.
