The worthy guest, at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, was pleasant man, with a with long gray hair under his baseball cap, a scruffy beard, and wearing a worn jacket with patriotic patches. He sat alone, but made hospitable comments to those walking by his table.
One customer, observing the veteran, described his experience on Facebook. C. Sparks and his mom were also dining in the Savannah, Georgia restaurant and were seated in the same area as the vet. He noticed the kindly behavior of the war vet, saying hi to each person who walked by, yet no one reciprocated the pleasantries.
