A Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy is on paid leave after a video surfaced showing him stomping on a man’s head, then using his foot to keep the man’s head pinned against the ground.
This was after the cop pepper sprayed him in the face and tasered him.
The man, 51-year-old John Madison Reyes, states the incident started when he asked the cop to move his patrol car that was blocking the road.
How do you know what took place? Were you there?
Most of these people seem to think nobody can tell them what to do.I don’t know where they get that idea.We all have to follow rules and abide by laws.
Isn’t paid leave the equivalent of vacation?
Needs I A to order mental evaluation .
FIRE the cop and TAKE AWAY HIS PENSION!!!
William I am a vet. I signed up and did my job. I didn’t whine about it and I don’t need anybody to thank me for my service. I could have been killed in action, but guess what, I volunteered. It the same for cops, you signed up for the job. Do your job, do it right, have honor and respect the oath you take to protect and serve. You don’t get a badge to be a tyrant drunk on power.
Would you like to see your father or brother head being kicked or stomp on by someone whose supposed to be protecting you?
lets get the whole story before making judgment calls.
I know two many cops that broke the law and they are still working and still going after the victim and allowing the people living around that victim to constantly harass and cause trouble. They refuse to do their job by the book. Your report them and it goes in one ear and out the other. I don’t feel they deserve a chance, as if I messed up I would be suspended without pay. They aren’t working they shouldn’t get paid.
Why is he on PAID leave, that is not exceptable.
