Step 6: Add the fan to the lid
The small fan used to force air up from the bucket should fit right over the hole so cool air will be drawn up from the bucket and into the room. warm air will be drawn through the screen, through the soaked pad, which will cause it to cool down as it evaporates some of the water in the process.
You can simply use some small pieces of duct or gaffer tape to help keep the fan in place.
