Step 3: Prepare the pad

You’ll need to cut a piece of the pad 13-14 inches high and 30-31 inches around.

As you’ll see in the video, a long straight-edged ruler makes this step easier and a lot tidier! You may have to trim a bit to get the pad to fit. At this stage it is a good idea to note down the final measurements of the pad so that you can quickly and easily cut a replacement if you need to. Hang on to those measurements for the next step, too.
