Step 2: Prepare the plastic bucket
With all the listed materials and tools ready to go it is time to prepare the 5-gallon plastic bucket.
Fill the 5-gallon plastic bucket with about 2 gallons of water. You can then mark the level and ad some dry weight like a brick to give the bucket some stability while you work, or you can just leave the water in for weight if you prefer.
Make holes in the wall of the bucket, making sure to keep the lowest ones well above the water line. Cut the holes so they are spaced evenly around the unit.
