Some items are simply a must-have for your bug out bag/survival pack/camping gear/etc – and paracord is one of those items.
Paracord (short for parachute cord) is super strong yet lightweight that was originally used in parachutes in WW2. Although it´s made from nylon it differs greatly from plain nylon rope. We we talk about paracord we are refering to Type III commercial grade, 550 parachute cord.
One video below goes over many uses of the cord, while the other shows you how to make a king cobra paracord bracelet so you can easily carry it with you.
Oh so anything that anyone with basic skills could do with regular string or twine as opposed to a power chord bracelet? Yeah, quick, lemme grab a bracelet so I can cut off a piece to use for hanging paper towels by my work bench. Very informative.
I’ve seen them with a fish hook too !
Cheaper buying in 100yrd rolls at Ace Hardware where I live. US Military Certified! Ripp Off Bracelets and Dog Collars! LOL
Pretty cool! Amazing that there are so many usages for it. Made these with my son too.
